Harry's Mum Victim of Twitter Abuse

One Direction have inspired a great deal of Twitter trends in the past, so it came as no surprise that Harry Styles' mum was a hot topic.
However, the seemingly adorable hashtag #WeLoveAnne was not the honourable tribute we hoped Harry Styles' gorgeous mum deserved.
The hashtag was, in fact, trending because immature cyber bullies had begun posting vile and disrespectful things about the One Directioner's mum. Like Caroline Flack before her, Anne has fallen foul of the OD fanbase and the poor lass received some of the most vile Tweets we've seen in a while.
Was it because Harry Styles recently told Sugarscape that he thought his Mum was "beautiful"? Maybe the One Direction fans got jealous when they read it:
“She’s a very beautiful woman. It was the same at school as well.”
Luckily, Anne knows how to deal with bullies. She quickly told them to "learn to be nice” which caused other OD fans to respond in force with messages of praise for cougar-loving Styles' mum. Which, in turn, transformed the hashtag into a hatetag and into one of genuine affection for the celeb mummy.
Here are a choice few of the loveliest Tweets on the subject:
"The fans being disrespectful to @anne42cox give the rest of us a bad name."
"#WeLoveAnne @anne42cox Don't ever let those stupid disrespectful people bring you down. We love you :) #WELOVEANNE"
"@anne42cox anne i am so sorry about all these tweets youre getting! please know the rest of us love you! #weloveanne <3"
Is anyone else noticing a worrying rise in cyber bullying lately? Twitter is becoming an easy way for people to hate on their least favourite celebrities. It's not a case of "if you can't say something nice, Tweet it."
What do you think about the recent spate of Twitter bully
