One Direction must have discovered a lot of new things about girls' crotches since they first appeared on the X Factor, but we'd be willing to bet our afternoon snack (and you all know how important that is to us) that they never dreamed of sanitary products being flung at them while they perform.

Knickers, probably. Bras, maybe. TAMPONS?! We can only hope they were still boxfresh.

Yikes. In the face and everything, the last place you'd want a flying fanny-plug* to land.
Maybe this explains why Harry used to get sick before he went on stage; he had a vision of the disaster that was to come.
